““It’s Just a Figure of Speech” is a series of fantastical scenes, depicting common idioms as literally as one may interpret it. By showing the contrast between the figurative and literal meaning, we get to explore how humans use language to represent a lived experience.”
I am a Chinese-Canadian illustrator with an interest in concept artist! I love to create environments and worlds that are born from the corner of my brain, however esoteric or straightforward these ideas are. This is my way of bringing new creative life to a world that is looking more and more bleak and pessimistic.
