Gà, also known as chicken in Vietnamese. This piece brings together elements of fabricated steel frames and painted wood panels. Together, Gà represents my farm back home in Cần Thơ. A site of ritual and reverence for farming. Metal frames represent resistance of the coop, signifying land labour and a system of control.
