The Harmony Wellness Center - Ontario Place

This project reimagines Ontario Place as a multi-sensory wellness destination that blends architecture, landscape, and public space. The design is composed of elevated spa pods inspired by the five elements—air, water, earth, metal, and wood—each offering a distinct sensory experience through variations in light, material, sound, and atmosphere. At the center, the Cinesphere is transformed into an immersive sensory garden where the five senses come together in a shared environment.Complementing the elevated structures, an organically shaped bridge is introduced beneath the site, creating a new layer of circulation and public life. This flowing pathway brings visitors closer to the water and activates the space below with seating areas, cafés, and food stalls. Together, the project creates a balance between private wellness experiences and open social spaces, redefining wellness as an interactive and spatially driven experience.
