The Moon

I am usually a technique first type of artist and for this one I wanted to try Mezzotint. Mezzotint is one of the earliest ways of achieving tone in intaglio that is not being practiced as much due to the intense physical labour and instability of the image. Unlike most printmaking techniques this one can only withstand the pressure of the press for a couple prints and will eventually start getting lighter and loose the image details.
