Photographic fleece sculpture featuring images of a raw piece of sliced fish and an intimate moment of sapphic connection

“"Sanctify" is a sculptural union of intimate and vulnerable visuality. Bringing together and distorting two separate moments of exposed flesh, the artwork reveals traces of divinity embedded within this overlap. A glistening slice of raw meat at a local market is contrasted with a pixelated, abstracted moment of sapphic connection; the inflated scale of both images allowing these shared intricacies to emerge in new ways. Both sides of the sculpture reflect on the terror and beauty of bodily residence and connection, becoming a sacred reliquary for these conflicting realities. ”
