Inspired by the typography and cinematography of the French New Wave, "Grapefruit" is a visual projection of the ways in which we are divided from home, and the fractured growth that it procures. Using the video camera like a brush over the landscape, along with typographical animation, found media recordings, and an original score — the personal and the political stand on either side of the same property.Read this poem and more in "Rock Music" available May 6.
