Aquarium After Hour

Digital future thesis. It's a casual fish tank game with a built-in music player, curated music, and extra note functionality. It's a window overlay program that takes up some space on the screen and can be moved around. It's an attempt to make a creative project through the use of AI coding and an opportunity for personal experience using it. Aesthetically, this project was heavily inspired by the early internet aesthetic, with Windows Media Player skin as the main inspiration, so the overall look and the stakes are less serious as a result. The game has a large fish collection, a background, and a music catalogue. The project's shape and function changed throughout the winter semester of 2026 through users' feedback and multiple playtests, all in order to capture that "fish tank" feel.
