“In this piece, I explore the role of women as homemakers and the immense, often invisible labour and sacrifice it demands. It looks at how these sacrifices are socially celebrated while still expected as a given. From the perspective of the Shakchunni, this figure appears both distant and unattainable, representing a life shaped by duty, recognition, and domestic devotion.”
