If You See Something

"If You See Something" is a documentary detailing my journey to every station in the TTC network.

“Over the span of six days, I travelled to all 109 TTC stations and documented my process. As I spent many hours riding the subway, I could see the difference between the older stations, beginning to decay and crumble, compared to the shiny and new stations that nearly glow with their perfect white walls. Despite the condition of the older subway lines, I found a stronger connection to them, as they hold more character with their unique architecture and colourful tiles.Traversing from station to station gave me a lot of time to think about what the transit means to me and how much of a role it has played in my own history. It is more than just a subway system to me, but a space that holds memory and connection.”
