Photography has always felt deeply connected to the idea of time for me. When I shoot film, I often think of the exposure as a moment when light quietly fixes a fragment of time onto the film. With this piece, instead of relying on fast shutter speeds to freeze a single instant, I turned to slow shutter speeds to observe how objects shift, move, and transform. This approach creates a sense of fluidity that feels closer to recording the passage of time itself. From a distance, these images might not immediately appear to be long exposures. However, when one looks more closely, subtle differences in the water’s form begin to reveal themselves, offering a quiet, almost invisible sense of change. For the final installation, I selected six images based on both my personal preference and the visual rhythm I wanted to create. By arranging them in a specific sequence, I hope to evoke a feeling of flow, circulation, and cyclical movement. Through this process, I aim to express the way I understand time continuously moving, quietly shifting, and momentarily held within the photographic image.
