She Realms III, Venus

This work explores my interpretation of the energies of Venus.

“My culminating work at OCAD brings together my artistic and spiritual practices alongside anthropological and esoteric research. Drawing from my ancestral West Asian and Vedic traditions, I focus on planets that are astrologically understood as feminine, translating their symbolic qualities into painting. Influenced by the Indo-Iranian tradition of miniature painting, I create surreal, dreamlike scenes shaped by archetypal and metaphysical ideas. Guided by dream logic, these works bring together intuition, cultural memory, and inherited cosmologies, offering glimpses into celestial and ancestral realms.”
