This painting comes from a memory of my sister and I standing right under that giant bucket at the waterpark, holding our breath and waiting for it to crash down on us. In those seconds of anticipation, we were not just at a park; we were standing at the foot of a real, thundering waterfall we had found ourselves. It’s about that childhood magic where a plastic bucket felt like a massive force of nature, and how we shared that same imagined world every time the water finally broke.
