Spirituality is an inherent component of being human. This piece focuses on its intangible and multidimensional nature, with its definition rooted in a subjective understanding that varies from person to person. With a focus on the self and personal betterment, spirituality is understood as a pursuit of personal cohesion rather than social cohesion. Using a forest of knurled aspen trees, spirituality is represented through the use of an aspen forest with twisting roots, amorphous leaves, knurled trunks and watchful eyes.
