Each of our worlds are constructed of tightly tethered threads of knowledge influenced by Eurocentric normativity, often limiting our ability to see and understand perspectives beyond the 'normative' one. When one begins to recognize and acknowledge this constraint, they embark on the long and often tedious process of unlearning—of 'unthreading' certain forms of knowledge to make space for growth. In my work "Excavation I" and "Excavation II", I explore the notion of excavating one’s 'truer self'.
