**Migration Maze** explores the emotional disorientation experienced by individuals—particularly youth—who migrate without fully understanding the legal, cultural, or psychological consequences of their journey. The maze operates as a metaphor for confusion, false hope, and the ongoing search for belonging within unfamiliar systems. The project addresses the issue of blind migration, where misinformation, peer influence, or desperation lead individuals toward uncertain and often unsafe paths. Through typography, spatial form, and viewer interaction, the work invites reflection, raises awareness, and fosters empathy for these complex lived experiences.By translating an abstract social issue into a physical and navigable structure, Migration Maze positions design as a tool for both communication and engagement—encouraging viewers to not only observe, but to feel the disorientation and tension embedded within the journey.
“Migration Maze explores the emotional disorientation of blind migration through a typographic maze that symbolizes confusion, false hope, and the search for belonging. Addressing the risks of migration driven by misinformation and uncertainty, the project uses spatial design and interaction to raise awareness and evoke empathy for these lived experiences.”
