“These mini paintings are meant to emphasize the visual symbolism behind specific areas of my two main works "Paternal Instinct of Her Sons" and "If They Knew How to Fly South". I wanted to create a more intimate relationship with the smaller aspects of each piece to allow space for understanding due to the heavy subject matter. ”
