Rising Table

Rising Table is a coffee table inspired by the Cassiopeia jellyfish, a creature that floats upside down to harness sunlight through photosynthetic dinoflagellates. This sense of upward motion is expressed through the table’s legs, which rise dynamically from the Red Oak and Maple tabletop. The piece is constructed using Japanese-inspired joinery, allowing it to be easily disassembled and reassembled while showcasing precision craftsmanship.
