Barbe Bleu
Dark indigo lino cut prints depicting a key, candle and rose along side french text that reads "Peut-on aimer une Bête sous toutes ses formes?" (translation: can we love a beast in all its forms?) in a lighter indigo colour.
“"Barbe Bleu" is a print assembling three tales that explore hidden identities in masculinity and love, Beauty and the Beast,, Eros and Psyche, as well as Count Blue Beard. Asking how one can love and be loved while in conflict with this identity.”
