Memory I - Held
Painting
This work explores memory as a layered and physical presence. A horse-like body appears as a condensed form of accumulated memory, held within an abstract space of color, line, and surface. Threads and hidden numbers suggest tension, connection, and traces of recorded time.
“In this work, I use the horse-like form as a body of memory that has already become part of me. The threads hold it within an abstract field, resisting its disappearance as memory shifts, fragments, and fades. Through layered surfaces, repeated lines, and embedded numbers, I explore memory as something lived and carried—something that remains even as it threatens to slip away.”
