Chemex Study

Screen print of a Chemex coffee maker in both regular form and a variation. This screenprint explores materiality and texture both in a visual manner, along with techniques used in printmaking, moving beyond my usual graphic illustration style by experimenting with surface techniques to distinguish elements like cork and rope. I chose a Chemex as the subject because coffee has long been a meaningful part of my family life, representing shared traditions, memories, and connection across familial generations.
