“Bright Future employs scale and desire in dialogue with contemporary and historical philosophies and artworks. Using theological and art historical references in the context of Post Modernity and Hypermodernity, exploring the vitality of painting amongst an image-based economy. Scale, process, and subject, are participating in the negation and affirmation of reflexive dialogue. Objects become symbols, and space is condensed and flattened. ”
