Two Swans (Intimacy Knows No Bounds)
Sculpture
2026
Glass and acrylic beads, copper wire, copper sheets, nail polish
11"x7"x12"
Two swans (male and female). Created by using beadwork and metal work techniques. The body is created by threading beads on thin wire and looping it through itself. The faces are made by using silver smithing techniques (sinking and raising, chasing and repousee). The surface treatments are made using heat treat and enamel.

They with often mate with the same partner for many seasons and they show rather romantic displays and gestures. In "Intimacy Knows No Bounds" they represent romantic intimacy and love, which is the main form of intimacy that many people know. ”
