Herald of The Tempest

Beyond the tempest, a rapturing light that commands the bellowing thunders pierces into the night ...Like a crescendo leading up to a high note, the angelic figure rises above the thunderous clouds amidst the night. Has its presence brought the storm along, or here to save us from it? The painting questions the significance of hope and clarity, how it not only combats despair and uncertainty but also exists synonymously alongside them.
