Eternal flame of the desert

This painting envisions the Yazd desert as a sacred landscape where architecture, sand, and spirit coexist in quiet harmony. the scene reflects how human life in the desert is shaped by the same elements that sustain it clay, wind, and light.The sand here is not lifeless; it is the memory of the earth, constantly shifting yet eternal, carrying the traces of civilizations and prayers long buried. Out of this golden sea of dust rise structures that seem to breathe symbols of resilience and belonging.By introducing fire, I invoke the Zoroastrian symbol of divine truth and purification. The flame becomes a heart within the desert’s stillness a living pulse beneath layers of time and sand. It embodies spiritual flux, where creation and decay, silence and light, all move together in an endless circle.
