Recycled metal, wire, paint.
10"w x 36"l x 36"h
A stark assembly of recycled industrial metal and tangled wire that explores the interconnectedness of humanity and our role in the ecological crisis of the Anthropocene.

“"Anthropocene Nexus" Recycled welded thick hollow metal bars crossed in the centre represents humans, we are all connected to each other. We are one species, Homo Sapiens. Discarded short metal coils protrude from the four corners of the earth, anchoring the Anthropocene's chaotic tangle of wires. Asymmetrically attached to one end, a spiritual wreath of wire suspends a multi-coloured wire ball, resembling our planet earth. Two 'found' railway anchors remind us that we all travel together in space. Humans are responsible for our pending, sixth extinction event.”
