Layers of color and form accumulate not to produce a single resolved image, but to make visible the process of repetition and buildup itself. The rectangles across the surface are informed by shapes and sensations gathered from nature, yet they exist in a state of decomposition and rearrangement rather than as any recognizable landscape. Each layer is left partially uncovered, so that what came before is not erased but allowed to coexist. This accumulation traces the passage of time and the overlapping of experience visually, resisting any single viewpoint or narrative. The work is attuned to the subtle balance that forms between order and disorder. Within a repeating structure, no two forms are exactly the same — slight differences and misalignments generate the rhythm across the surface. In the end, this painting operates less as a vehicle for conveying a specific image, and more as a field where quiet tension and movement take shape through the ongoing process of accumulation and transformation on the surface.
