How Humane Canada took over Toronto’s Yonge St.
“For this project, I wanted to explore the emotional side of pet adoption beyond the initial excitement. It’s easy to fall in love with an animal in the moment, but I was interested in highlighting what happens when that decision isn’t fully thought through.By shifting the perspective to the animal’s voice, I aimed to create a more honest and empathetic conversation around adoption. Using breed-specific insights and first-person messaging, the campaign encourages people to slow down, reflect, and truly understand the responsibility that comes with bringing a pet home.”
