The installation aspect of Kaleidoscope was created as a way to present the game concept, enabling an audience to interact with it. The goal was to bring the concept art to life and visualize the world. It is a free standing interactive piece that incorporates projection and audience interaction, which allows the audience to be confronted with the impact of technology misuse and the need for conservation efforts. It is up to the players to help nature thrive again and stop the impending destruction of the world. The audience has the option to change and manipulate the scenes with a variety of input/output devices, including buttons to change between scenes, a knob to rotate view, and a portal that integrates different characters into the world.

“Immersion and audience involvement was very important to me with this project, as I think these are necessary factors that we need to consider in our current world. I wanted to share the concept I envisioned with my audience and allow them to take part in the direct impact between technology and environments.”
