Reclaim: An Urban Underpass

Fourth Year Thesis

“A linear urban corridor unfolds beneath the Gardiner Expressway, linking Spadina Avenue to Dan Leckie Way while transforming the underpass into a year-round marketplace and public space. Through strategic programming, the project reclaims the orphaned underpass as an active civic landscape, and reconnects the city’s downtown core to Lake Ontario.”
