I explore the unstable boundary between abstraction and reality. I wanted to bring into painting form the sensations and memories that resist visibility, alongside images that have stayed with me personally. Rather than communicating a clear narrative, I focused on constructing a sensory world shaped by the collision and merging of different images.Within the picture plane, human figures and various animal forms are entangled — not as separate entities, but as presences that continuously transform and connect within a single flow. These images don't directly explain a specific story or symbol; instead, they surface sensory impressions of life and death, nature and existence. Through this work, I wanted to follow the process by which images accumulated through memory and experience rise and combine on their own, rather than constructing a narrative consciously. This work is also a result of mixing Eastern imagery with visual influences absorbed through Western art history. But these elements were not deliberately borrowed — they are a natural surfacing of visual experiences that have built up over time. The work begins from personal sensation, but remains open rather than fixed to a particular meaning. I hope this painting functions less as a completed story and more as a space where viewers can form their own meanings through their own experiences and ways of seeing.
