In Other's Words

In Other’s Words is a reflective essay and a visual experimentation exploring the topic of originality and authorship.The book is divided into 3 chapters:In my words containing the self-written essay,In other’s words composed of the content generated by ‘reconstructing other’s work’ through collage,and What they actually said, a compilation of the original scans of the collages with citations of image sources.This book takes the idea of found object into the realm of typography and literature, and attempts to build a narrative with ‘found type’.Binder rings were used as a binding method to give the reader the flexibility to mess around with its order and structure; to freely add or remove content and mix up the pages to make this book their own, one-of-a-kind archive.
