ALT-R

The ALT-R is a cultural inquiry and design exploration asking: how are inherited spiritual practices of first and second generation immigrants shaped by where they live? What new beliefs and practices emerge? What traditions remain? Can these be integrated intentionally and honoured through design? Can an object remind / encourage / prompt a ritual of prayer and reflection?
