Memory III- Convergence
Painting
This work explores memory as a process of carefully reconnecting scattered fragments. The central threads act like stitches, holding separate moments together and suggesting the quiet labor of recollection.
“In this work, the central threads function like stitches, joining fragments of memory one by one. I think of remembering as an act of carefully piecing together scattered scenes, almost like tracing braille with the fingertips in search of something precious but incomplete. The layered textures across the surface reflect the uneven emotional weight of memory—those ridges and impressions that remain especially vivid over time. Through thread, structure, and material buildup, I explore memory as something fragile yet continuously reconnected through acts of recall.”
