05: Topanga Sunset

This piece is inspired by a small grotto I visited in California in the back of a crystal shop. The process was meditative, I painted intuitively based on what I was feeling at that very moment, balancing grief with a sense of calm and a connection to spirituality.

“When I was younger, my grandmother would always take me to crystal shops and this experience made me feel closer to her, which is a memory I keep close to my heart after her passing.”
