How I obliterated my body with pattern and texture.

This project aims to merge the realms of costume and fashion by taking into consideration the interaction of clothing with the body and the transformative nature of dress. Using insects, which are often viewed as strange and otherworldly, the viewer is prompted to examine their own relationship with things that may cause feelings of fear or disgust. This project is made from entirely upcycled yarn from unraveled thrift store sweaters.
