One More Moment

Part of the ‘Keep in Touch’ series, exploring human connection through a direct and indirect interpretation of memory.

“I combine personal photographs of myself with those I’ve shared meaningful platonic, familial, or romantic relationships with. The split composition and the act of merging photographs present both a connect and disconnect, visually representing this tension. Although some of the subjects in my work may no longer be in my life, the memories and feelings I felt with them stay with me. We are all shaped into who we are by the heavy influence of the people closest to us. Also, like photographs, my work captures both the presence and inevitable absence of the figures.”
