“As I found myself drowning in pessimistic nihilism, feeling demotived yet looking around for inspiration, I started to look at the past and became detatched from reality. In my thesis film, I travelled through the process of growing up, exploring my relationship with nostalgia. "Crayons" is a reminder that the joy is not stuck in the past and the present is not as bleak as we think, as long as we live and keep colouring.”
