Mutual Reception

Painting
2025
Oil on canvas
60 × 48 × 1.5 in
A painting of relation before hierarchy. Mutual Reception gathers pattern, body, fruit, diagram, and cosmology into a field of reciprocal forces. Forms echo, exchange, and depend on one another, allowing meaning to emerge through structure, repetition, and relation rather than through a single fixed image.

“Mutual Reception does not settle into one image; it behaves like a living field. Radiating structures, interlocking lines, and saturated colour move across the canvas in a state of exchange, pulling attention from one point to another. The painting holds cosmic, bodily, vegetal, and electrical associations without resolving into any of them. Pattern becomes a way of thinking: a structure of relation, pressure, rhythm, and return.”
