Installation View with Coloured Light

A spatial installation where red and blue light extend the paintings’ chromatic tension into the room.

“This installation view documents a key moment in the development of Threshold. Rivulet and Nexus are installed with coloured ambient light, allowing painted colour and environmental colour to act on one another. The room becomes unstable: red and blue shift the wall, alter the paintings’ temperature, and make atmosphere part of the work’s structure. Rather than treating the white wall as neutral, the installation tests how light, edge, surface, and distance can shape perception before the image is fully understood.”
