“The first in a three part series, one, represents childhood, when the brain is starting to grow and take in new information for the first time. The white, fluid lines inspired by neurons grow over and become more complicated over the course of the series, evolving as time goes on and new experiences are learned. The simple composition corresponds to the simplicity of life at this stage, carefully blended colours displaying the care required by a person so young.”
