04 The Grasslands

Oil on canvas; bright rainbow grass and green skies; purple trees and genderless people; figures with shapeless bodies; children dancing, people yearning, people loving. The Grasslands represent an intuitive exploration into my subconscious.

“The Grasslands represent a blueprint of the community I am creating; a space free from the expectation of gender, a space free from social constructs, a space transcending those constraints where people can be people, free to dance, free to grow, free to learn from one another. Maybe an idealized space, but one that I won't stop working towards creating in the waking world.”
